Dang, Jeff! Do a little bragging. You made that shot at over 400 yards. and it was a one shot kill. How about elaborating on the story?

Well, doesn't look like Jeff is going to tell  the tale, so I will.  I went with him and another hunter on this trip.  To start off with Jeff and I made a couple of unsucessful stalks and I missed a couple of shots with my contender.  Have to practice in field positions at long range next time.
We got back to the truck to find our buddy with an antelope shot 234 yds from the truck.  While we had made a 3 + mile hike.
Went off insearch of more antelope.   To make a long story short.  Found the one Jeff shot at 435 yds.  The rest of the story is, strong wind left to right.  The animal was facing Jeff when he shot.  Also it was nervous and Jeff did not have a lot of time to figure holdover and wind drift.  As usual with Jeff, 1 shot 1 kill.

I have a Burris 3-12 with BalisticPlex on mine, but any 2-6, 2.5-7, 3-9 would work fine.

Jeff, can you fill me in on who made the barrel and what was the load you were using? I have a 260 that I am working with at the moment.
