This is the third 7 pointer I've shot in a row on the tobacco farm I hunt in southern Indiana (Jefferson county). Hopefully I've eliminated that gene trait LOL. He was 3.5 years old, had a small brow tine on the right antler and didn't grow one on the left side.
Shot him at 30 yards with my White Lightning (#2) .504, 485gr conical cast by Batchief (non-Trashcan), unlubed wad, 70grs Swiss 3F, RWS 1075 cap. He was going the opposite direction when I saw him so I pulled out the trusty Primos can call, called three times, he made a 180 and came by my stand. At 30 yards I shot him broadside, he left a bloodtrail a blind man could follow. Not that I needed it he went 20 yards and piled up. I was breathing so hard before I fired that I fogged up my scope LOL. Well I guess if I didn't still get excited I should take up another hobby. Anyway he's a great buck
