I have a WWII Japanese Officer's Sword, a sword machete, 2 Heavy Machete and some other small knifes. When i got the swords there was some kind of oil all over the blade. What can i use to keep rust from happening on my swords? there all SS but some look like rust is on them.

I doubt if any of them are stainless steel.  The officer's sword definitely isn't, unless it's a modern reproduction.  There are very few stainless machetes out there also.  No idea what a sword machete is.  If the spots are indeed rust, something you have to work really hard to do with stainless...like put deep scratches in it so the layer below the chromium is exposed..then anything from WD-40 through vegetable oils and any of the rust inhibiting synthetics works.  There's a million of them on the market.

Another good product is Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax sold with a cleaner.
I used WD40 on a muzzle loader and put it away for about 20 years, went back to it, there was 0 corrosion.
Brother worked at a factory, suddenly had a batch of parts that couldn't be painted, the paint would run off, searched for the cause, found a can of silicone spray by the shear, operator was spraying the bed to make the material slide over it more easily. Removed can=no problem anymore. Even an acid bath wouldn't remove it from the parts.

just about all the tools have deep scratches, i use them very hard. I use my Heavy Machete to cut up a wood table one time and i just used it to cut back a small brush.

clensoil is made to protect fine machined metal surfaces , it should work well .

what about 3 in 1 oil, hoppen 9 gun oil , rem oil gun oil, or some non wd-40 lube spray that i picked up?

Anything that dries and leaves a lubricating/rust protecting coating works best.  3 in 1 oil doesn't which means any dust/dirt/junk can get embedded in it.  I've use Rem Oil and it works...don't know about the others.

Might be a bit late for this one, but you might want to try "Brake-Free"....works on cannon bore to prevent rust....

My friend is an Armorer in the Marines, says they used Breakfree, even bought it  by the 5 gallon bucket for cannon etc.
Good enough for me, can't think of a group in the world that knows more about making a weapon sing than the U.S.M.C.

If I want to store a knife I just rub a little vaseline on it. Works for me.

I own very fine blades, I only use Japanese Choji Oil Clove Oil.

Which is mineral oil with clove oil mixed. You can buy it several places on the net, or make your own.

Best Ive found for high carbon blades. The ladies will like the smell too.
