so one of us is a fool: me, you or brianb.. possibly all of us. probably so in some regard.
back to the point of the topic now with the foolishness noted, we've all been "had" with obama in office. we've all been "had" by divisive identity politics and political correctness chipping away at america for quite awhile now. the political environment is harsh enough that only lobbying groups and the big media have a real pull on politicians. well, as far as normal people go. there are the puppeteers/elite/rich. it seems obama is so super slick that he's made it up this far so fast that no one could see beyond the blur.... we're not sure what he's doing now but we've seen the path traveled by the flash and it's not looking pretty. I think when we close the gap we're gonna see more damage done after the fact.
to bring this back to the BIG diversion earlier caused by personal attacks/insults... me and brianb were arguing the necessity of adding security details to public areas, not a few armed guards but co-ordinated police and military. personally it scares me deeply. he seemed to think that it had merit. while I coldly stated that hardship wouldn't sway my opinion, he passionately stated an example from within his community of loss and violence- which led him to support some government encroachment on our civil liberties. that's really where we should be again on this thread.
I still feel the same way now- no amount of carnage will make me change my mind. I'm emotionally unavailable to all but the closest family, definitely for people that I don't even know. BrianB is not so cold, and was upset due to some sick negligence (if not outright murder) in his community. I'm ready to go back to the debate now that we're cooled off. This evolved into obama/identity/security/societal degredtion and it's a big topic- let's get back to processing it.
