Removing forearm on '94 Marlin???(oops....moved to Marlin forum)
« on: December 09, 2009, 01:35:09 PM »
I started to take the forearm off the (new to me) Marlin to refinish it and, hmmmm, I took the little metal brackett off but it hits on the hanger.  Do I need to take the whole shebang apart or is there (I hope) a shortcut?
I did the buttstock, stripped it all off and just put a tung-oil finish on it.  Looks great!
thanks in advance!!

The magazine tube must first be removed from the rifle before the forend will come off.
