Ruger Redhawk
« on: December 09, 2009, 01:37:49 PM »
I have found a 41 Magnum ruger redhawk with a 7.5 inch barrel. It is blued with a scope. The owner said he would sell it out the door for $450.00. Is this a good price. I have been looking for one around here for 2 months with no luck. Thanks for any help.

I just looked on gunsamerica and the only 41 I saw was stainless for $489. That's minus ffl charges and shipping.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me. What kind of scope?

They also had a 44 mag with a 2x leupold that caught my eye. I wish I had the extra cash.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I paid $500 plus shipping and my FFL fees.

I don't think you will beat that price. A Leupold 2.5 runs around $350.00 new. If you really want a 41 mag RH I would jump on it.

Thanks guys I thought it was a deal I should try and work out. Now I have to talk the boss into it. I have been looking for a 41 for 2 or 3 months and could not find one around here. I was looking for a dealer I could trade a Vangaurd 204 sub min. of angle in on it. My better half said that was OK of couse the place that has one does not think he can sell it so he does not want it. So I will have to buy the 41  then sell my rifle. I don't know if she will go for that, but I really want a 41. so I will try  Thanks again

Great choice. You'll really love that .41 mag. I know every gun is different regarding what it shoots well, but I've had great results with the Winchester Platinum Tip 240-gr HPs. Very tight groops.
