Can a .243 "Handi" be mounted on my Buffalo Classic frame?
« on: December 10, 2009, 08:24:09 PM »
Will I need to order a fore-stock along with the barrel if I want another "Handi" barrel.  Or, will the fore-stock of my Buffalo Classic fit onto the shorter barrels?

Either way works, H&R doesn't offer forends with difference barrel channels with exception of some shotgun forends, they're all the same. The BC frame has the same SB2 rifle frame as the Handi, it just has fake case coloring.

GO FOR IT!!

I have one on a skinny 32-20 barrel, looks very nice IMHO. Yes there is a space all the way down the sides, its like an extreme floated barrel. Works and looks very nice!!
