I found a new in box .45LC BC carbine on Gunbroker for 275.00 buy it now plus shipping, tax and transfer fees. My FFL tells me it comes to about a hundred less than he could sell it to me. We believe it was pawned and never claimed. Am I happy?

Hey - I got the same deal about a month or so ago on Gunbroker. The gun shoots just fine and there is not a flaw on it anywhere. NIB.

Hard to imagine. Must be based on volume.

Don't even tell me about the Ruger....Ya know I gotta have a handgun to match.

I know the feeling, I got mine (NIB) at my local shop and they had it laying against the rack for a few years with a few minor scrapes on the stock. The cosmetic stuff doesn't bother me at all cause I actually use all my stuff and it adds character (IMO). The price was FFL back then less shipping and I couldn't have been happier..................

Nice job Pete and a great deal to boot! Give us a range report when you can. I've never tried any factory ammo in mine so I unfortunately don't have any recommendations.

I got mine from Cabelas around this time last year. Out the door (tax etc) I got it for around $325ish. Sounds like you got a good deal.

No, he doesn't buy and sell as a prospector. He just scrounges around a lot and knows where the buys are or are not. He's kinda, sorta, a Handi packrat.

congrats on your find pete.....i picked up a BC carbine barrel recently,dropped it on a frame and it fit like a glove,added a PW stock and schnabel forend and Doug(canon) set me up with a Simmons shotgun scope(2.5x20)....i'm ready to give her a try. Matches up real nice with a Ruger Bisley 4 5/8" 45LC that i'm quite fond of too......Mike

They shipped the rifle this past Monday, and I got it on Wednesday. It seems, here in the frozen North, UPS is light years faster than Fedex or USPS. She's a honey

I like the buckhorn rear sight. I think I may even be able to use it......another smile

With the light weight and short LOP, she'd make a great kid or truck gun.

I couldn't find .45LC ammo anywhere locally. Went on line, and found only some cowboy stuff in some places. I finally went to Blue Cartridge and found it. I ordered 2 boxes (100 rounds) of 250 gr. LRNs. I believe they were 23.81 per box. I placed the order around 6 a.m., and emailed them about 10:30 that morning to confirm they got the order, and to inquire as to when they would ship. Within minutes, an email came back saying they shipped that morning

. Hard to believe in these times of scarce ammo.

it did'nt take much handload development to find what she and i like...

did your stock have any knots in it ?? mine did and there beautiful.
i'll post some pics of the butt stock as soon as i get time.

Cabela's has the new 225gr LE ammo listed as coming in 1-2 weeks when you add it to your cart, $22 a box, Able ammo lists it for $20 a box, but out of stock also.
