Barrel Swap Question Magizine

I have a stevens 200 in .223, I figured out what I need to swap the barrel and the bolt head.  What needs to be done to the internal magazine.   This rifle is only about 2 years old.

What caliber are you going to switch to? The short action magazines come in two lengths. There's the 223 length, and then there's the 308 length. For you to got to the 308 length you will need a new magazine and a shorter baffle to extend the bolt throw enough to use the longer magazine.
