Used to drink a little beer, never really cared about it that much, and then for a few years, I would occasionally mix a coke with Gentleman Jack and some ice. Then I asked myself one day if there was anything in the concoction that actually needed. Couldn't think of a thing and gave that up.

Haven't taken a drink in over 20 years but at the time was partial to good micro brewed ales and good scotch. Now I just cook with good wine, use beer to make batter for fried fish and use tequila to make lobster tacos. Hardest thing I drink is Starbucks, straight up black. We just moved my mother-in-law into an assisted living facility. While we were packing her stuff to move she said to take the liquor out to the cabinet and take it home with us. I thought it would just be well booze. How wrong I was. My father-in-law died in 1977 she said it was his booze. It was an unopend bottle of Crown Royal, Ezra Brooks and Canadian Club. All of it was 40 years old according to my wife. Her dad rarely drank and the whiskey came from freinds for Christmas presents. I wish I still drank. That has got to be the best hooch. The only reason I took it is so my brother-in-law wouldn't get it. He wouldn't appreciate it.

I never did comprehend a splash! How do you know when it's a full splash, or just a half splash? ;D

when i was drinking seriously whatever i had in my hand at the time was the best. now i occassionaly drink beer i like dark beer samuel adams or some of the micro brews. i go for taste with a kick now instead of get drunk and get crazy. i drink two or three and then stop. i like almost any whiskey mixed try not to drink it straight i end up going indian when i do. will and have drank a lot of vodka collins.

glad i do not do that stuff often but i really enjoy a cold beer after a hot day of work in the yard or something.

Neither. An occasional glass of wine socially, but that's it. I used to drink wine regularly but discovered that it interfered with my sleep. It also increases blood pressure and elevates cholesterol levels. It just wasn't worth it.

Spiced rum on the rocks, or with a touch of ginger ale.   Maybe a bit of Scotch sometimes.

Dark beer sometimes....not much of a beer drinker, but never Miller.

I drink very little but I do like a Coors Lite with Mexican food or BBQ. In winter I won't turn down a cup of coffee with a shot of french vanilla flavored creamer and Biack Velvet in it when I'm cold.

I don't partake of alcoholic beverages.

My favorite beer is Mug Rootbeer, hmmm good stuff.

Mixed drink? Well I do mix a lot of sugar and creamer with my coffee as I hate the taste of coffee but like a shot of caffiene to help jump start me after sleeping.

After recent taste experiments....I have found that for beer I like bud light with lime and I can stomach an amaretto sour.

Around here we call that a suicide! :-)  Glad my boys only drink water and an occasional juice!
