Your favorite Beer and Mixed Drink?

I don't partake of alcoholic beverages.

That's okay cuz, I do enough for both of us...    Just say +1 to my post.   

Now I always kinda thought that drinkin al-key-hall was kinda like datin wimmins...    Before you can have a favorite you got to try 'em all!  I mean, alkeyhall or wimmins, they's smooth ones, rough ones, strong ones, watered down ones, cold ones, hot ones, some that'll burn all the way down and some that'll light the fire in yo belly!  Some will make you happy, some will make you sad, some will make you fight, some just put you to sleep.  Some you want to take out in a crowd, some you don't want to be seen with in public and some you just want to curl up with in front of a fire.  How can you begin to know what you like best 'till you've tried them all!?  'bout the only thing you can say for sure is to much of either one will give you a headache... 

Nope, this question can only be answered by the type of guy who (a) never drank/dated wimmins, or (b) married the only girl he ever dated...  A true student of imbibeing understands that when it comes to drinking, Beer-wine-likker, there is ONE reguirement;  It got to have alkeyhall in it.  Same thing when it comes to wimmins... they got to be female!  If they ain't female, I'll bet the guy they datin' drinks non-alkeyhallic beer!

Now you can make fun of me all you like, but I like a good non-alcoholic beer now and then. My tolerance for sweet drinks has dropped and practically everything to drink besides water and black coffee is sweet. But it can't be just any non-alcoholic beer; if you've been to Iraq or Afghanistan recently you know the biggest threat to morale over there is the nasty stuff brewed by Coors.

I like to keep a few in my european shoulder bag

   My favorite beer would be Busch Natural Ice. Mixed drink would be V8 juice and vodka with a little bit of hot sauce added.

Beer: That's a tough one.  I like darker beers... porters and stouts.  A good black & tan is good.  I like to try different micro brews.  As far as mass market beer... many of the darker varieties of Sam Adam's is good, Guinness,  Modelo Negro, etc.

Mixed drinks:  Jack & Ginger,  Black Russian, Tom Collins or a Bacardi Gold screwdriver will all work depending on the mood I'm in.

Budweiser, Miller High Life, both good...

A nice hoppy ale (Flying Dog Tire Bite maybe) for special occasions...

A traditional Gin Martini once in awhile in the summer time...

and a nice bourbon or scotch on the rocks, once in awhile, in the cooler weather.

Well no...    Not at first anyway...but then they's some where once is enough for sure!   Sometimes, just a ... um... sip will do!

1.5 oz Vodka
1.0 oz half and half poured over a tumbler of ice= White Russian

And for the Christmas Season

6 oz Eggnog
1.5 oz Brandy

The old blues tune comes to mind: One bourbon, one scotch, and one beer. That's a mixed drink.

But seriously, mixed drinks are a fearsome thing. I was in Mexico one day and went to a restaurant. I figured I'd have a margarita as a memento of my stay. It tasted sort of like salty lemonade. Quite tasty indeed. Delicious, in fact. Didn't seem alcoholic at all. But I had to sit there for an hour because I wasn't getting up after drinking that "small" margararita served in a standard wine glass. Maybe 4 ounces. My gosh they can disguise a lot of alcohol with lime juice and whatever else they put in those things.

Blatz, not a beer you hear much about anymore. Was surprised it showed up here. Kinda like hearing about Hamms, Schlitz, Shaffer, Carlings, Falstaff, etc....

I'm not a mixed drink or wine kinda person. But I can enjoy a beer or two ever once in awhile. I like the dark beers, Guinness primarily. But had some Michelob Amber bock after deer hunting and it was decent.
