No chmaber in a factory TC barrel
« on: December 14, 2009, 08:15:50 AM »
At the gun show this weekend I found an oddity for sale on a table. 10" octagon barrel for contender, marked 45 colt but on inspection I found it did not have a chamber cut. Rifling went all the way to the breach face and the ejector protruded into the chamber. Blue on the bore all the way to the breach. Factory new in the box because it can't be fired.

Factory mistake? Customizers dream? what value do you assign something like this?

Hope that whoever buys it will ream it for a Contender caliber and not something else.

It's gotta be a factory mistake... everyone knows TC has never produced a short throated barrel ;D

Hope you bought it because TC will more than likely give you the barrel of your choice to get it back .Might even give you a whole gun !
