Wolf trigger assembly....need help

I was having trouble with the hammer locking with the barrel was locked the the reciever.  The hammer would function properly if I opened the breech.  If I forced the lever that opens the breech forward the hammer would work.  I assumed that the lever needed cleaning.  It did have some residue built up on it.  Now I cannot put the trigger assembly back together.  I have put many shotguns back together but this is a mess.  I looked on the CVA site and could not find any info.  Has anyone else had that problem?  Can anyone help with the reassembling of the trigger, hammer,etc???

cva advises you not to mess with that, its all in their manual.  Call them and see if they will repair it.

i used the pictures and info for the trigger assembly on an NEF/H&R.  they are close enough to being the same, worked for me.  look up in the NEF section above.  if i recall it was a link to an article(?) for doing a trigger job.  shows how to build a jig to re-assemble, etc.  good luck

I've taken my Wolf apart.  Yup--CVA manual sez don't do it and it voids the warranty, allegedly.  I don't recall anything particularly challenging about it and no jig is necessary--you just need some short/slightly undersize dummy pins to hold various fire control group components together while you tap the receiver pins into place.

Interestingly, the trigger on my Wolf is as nice as the Timneys i have on other rifles, only about 1/2 pound heavier. I am guessing it to be about 3 1/2 pounds pull, nice and crisp. I kid you not.
I spray Teflon light oil everywhere i can, and it works fine, even in really cold weather.
