Climate change: the true agenda revealed!

It's obvious now. All of the poor countries want money from the rich countries. And anybody that can make a buck on "green" products is hawking them in Copenhagen. It's all about money. There is not a word about science (probably because the science has  been utterly discredited.) They'll spend another week there hustling on the environment.

It's most definately about money. But with CO2 being toxic to the environment now some of us are going to have to die so those that are of the right enlightened political persuasion can have more pristene air to breath from high in their ivory towers.

I saw, or heard some dude being interviewed about global warming--I guess he was some kind of scientist--and he said, if there is only a 10 per cent chance that global warming is a fact, we should proceed with plans to prevent it.  My thought was that there is probably a higher per centage chance that global cooling is a fact.  Does that mean that we should also proceed with plans to prevent that?

It amazes me that they are able to sell this bill of goods with all of the scientific evidence aginst their so called evidence.But I never thought that I would see people buying bottled water either.

I guess I'm too old.  I remember in the 70's we all heard about the return of the Ice age.  Winters were longer and colder, it's hard to believe "Man"  has screwed it all up in only 30 years or so.

As far as CO2, trees just love the stuff, they convert it to O2 and everyone is happy.  I keep hearing all the Politically correct people complain about those of us who heat with wood.  I heard a great comment from a scientist at Cornell University a few years ago.  "Heat with wood, it's the only carbon neutral fuel going, the tree takes in CO2 and when it's burned it gives it back, but it can only give back as much as it consumed."

in reading old newspapers (did not record the dates) i saw many headlines over the years saying the eart was in an icebox and we were all going to die in the coming ICE AGE or we would all die in the coming 'Heat Waves" that would turn all earth into a sand filled sahara. last night i believe it was 138 in an Ohio Paper on the front page was a story that the two leading scientist both winners of the NOBEL PRIZE in the Scientific Field stated unequivicoly that the earth would die in the next 50 years accountof COSMIC RAYS from the sun. then there was a preacher that in 1935 or so said it was the end of the world on such and such date that year. the list is endless of these predictions and plenty of so called unquestionable science by the top scientist of the time.

I watched a national geographic series on the various time periods of history in the people on the earth and they showed how in the different periods there were droughts of extended time periods moderate temps and others periods of extreme storms and rains. the point is the eartyh has these periods and nothing we can do will stop them from happening. we will suffer throught ir cold or hot and many will die because of it. yet we do not have the power or money or more importantly the time to effect any bit of change on the earth cycles. even if we could about the time we figured out how to make it colder we would be in a natural ice age anyway. then we would be trying to undo all we have done.

The amazing thing is that it is the same guys now pushing warming that were pushing the ice age stuff 30 years ago.Maybe they just push what pays the best or it could be they hit menopause and are having hot flashes.

It's all about control. California has decided to regulate your home thermastat. What kind of car you can drive,even the damn color, lets raise electric rates and call it carbon credits. Poor country's want welfare money, just the poor folk in this country. Well, bubble is in the bursting mode. Not much longer and alot of people are going to get a serious wake up call. gypsyman

Saw an article the other day about 338 windmills being put in in E. Oregon. GE, obie's favorite company, has the contract. ALL of the power is going to SoCal. That will only power 70k homes. One nuke plant can power a city the size of Seattle for a year. The people of Oregon get no benefit of the power being generated in their state. Plus those things are a hideous blight on the landscape. I have them in my area and I hate them with a passion. They want to tear down our dams, can't get any better renewable resource than that. When CO2 control goes through they will shut down a coal fire plant nearby. I guess I better start bundling up and gettin use to my teeth chatterin all day. We are getting some of that new fangled smart grid technology installed on our substations. They say they will be able tell who is using the most energy according to the interview with the spokesman of the local utility district. Of course it is to only help them better manage the peaks of electrical generation during the heat of the summer and cold of winter. They would never use that to punish those that use more electricity, like me (hot tub), than someone else, would they???

 Notice that they can't call it "global warming" anymore since the real science shows we're actually in a cooling trend. Now it's "global climate change." How convenient.

 The whole deal has become a religion, and the priests know they can't lose. If temps rise, they'll say "See? We're not doing enough!" If temps continue to cool, they'll say "See? What we're doing is working!"

 It's just the ol' 'heads I win, tails you lose' trick, but this phony coin toss will bring worldwide socialism one step closer.

 Ever wonder what happened to all the panic about the burning of the rainforests in South America, where we were all going to die from lack of oxygen? Surpise surprise.... Seems when they leave a cleared area alone for a while, it grows back.

It's all about money and power.

Watch your local weather report and see how accurate it is. That should tell anyone how well scientists can predict whether the earth is going to heat up or cool off in the future. When the weather guys can't make an accurate prediction for two weeks in advance, or even day to day at times, I have absolutely no faith in their abilities. They have missed the day's high and low temperatures here for the last two weeks, also if it will be cloudy or clear.
