I can get through most conversations with: "Yep", and "Nope".

There'd also be a lot less problems out there if more people limited their talking to that also  ;)

Throw in the occasional "I love you" and my marriage might just be perfect....'course, I'd still hear alot more "nope"s than "yep"s  :'(

there was some study done, i think guys only run through 2500-3k words a day while women run through 5-7k

I always tell my wife 95% of the questions I ask you require a yes or no answer. It's never that breif though.

Most women do not comprehend that   yes-no, is an answer they never use it to answer a question without a lot of attached verbiage that usually leaves me asking the wife" was that a yes or no dear." and if you give a yes or no they seem to expect a long detailed explanation of why that is your answer. They also fail to get that after the yes-no answer that conversation is done. I have told my wife many times "you are the only person i know that can't take yes for an answer" We have been married 45 years and still do not speak the same language.
