I hae an FFL 03, so I order from Southern Ohio Guns.  They sell them for $159, so if you know someone with an FFL 01, have em send their stuff to SOG and have them order one for you.  It's amazing how much mark-up is on some things!

I was not trying to p someone off, because that was not the intent of passing the price on.  As far as tax, we pay 5.5% which is less than 1/2 of the 10% your listing and I just had a handgun shipped 2nd day air for $16.  They ship long guns to me for less.  I normally do not buy more than one or two at a time for my collection, so I do not know if the rate would be lower, like it is for most things orders in multiples.

SOG is a middleman, and are probably making a little on them, so my guess is if a person was a dealer dealing with the Hi Point direct, the cost could be less than the $159 in SOG's flyers. They must be if you listed them at $190 by you.

Again, I was not trying to rip your 15% mark-up.

Excellent.  I bought mine for $150 OTD from a Dunhams about 3 yrs ago and wish I would have bought the 40 right along with it when I got it.  They must have been clearing them out or something.

For the $, they must be one of the better deals around.    Mine came with all of the accessories, (scope rail, sling, etc.). I've thought about a red dot, but haven't done it.

i  think  if  a man  paid  $400   he  would  be  very  happy  with what  he  had

as  long   as he  never  found out  $250  was  a fair  hihe  price

i  think  they  are  the best  deal in a rifle  except  maybe  a 22lr

only  a  cheap  pump  shot gun  MAY  give you more fire power  for  the  buck

Maybe I should have looked around more, because I gave $200.00 for mine the other day. I shot it yesterday with 25 rounds of ammo I had, and it went thru that real fast and no problems. The rifle was still in box but had been used, it had all the paper work included along with attachments unopened. I was looking at the sling hardware and seems odd how the sling attaches, what I mean is, to the side. I will see how that works out later on. I got to go find me a couple magazines for this gun.... While at the range it did shoot into a probably 16" pizza size pattern at 50 yards. I might get a scope for the gun since the old eyes can't focus like they used too. I'm real happy with the gun for the price and for the fun factor in shooting it ....
