Go ahead and rub it in  :), but it does make the coyotes hungrier and easier to spot.

Now I could believe that if I were in Hawaii, but they are loosing out, unless the snow in your pictures is unusual for your area.  If I lived in your area Kings Shadow http://www.shadowcamo.com or Prairie Ghost camo would be a must.

I used to make my own camo winter snow outfitts! You take a worn white sheet off the bed and make a poncho out of it, you can spray paint a few dark stripes or patches on the sheet and your good to go after those snow trodden song dogs. ;D

That would have been my next move if I didn't find what I did on clearance, so I just spent some Christmas bonus money  ;D

Montanan,

I don't know how or why it happened, but we recently received a catalog from King's and I have to say that they offer what appears to be some awesome looking camo products.

VMaster,

Yep, that's snow alright. ;) We have lots of that stuff up in Northern Wisconsin. It lasts around six months or so around here. Enjoy it while you have it.

Tonk,

That's improvisation at its finest. ;)

We don't get snow here that much. This was the most we got in years.

Believe it or not, I would much rather get that kind of snow here in Montana than the white crap we do get.  What he shows in the pictures makes getting around in the stuff so much better than having 2 to 3 feet of the stuff around.

I still have to get my snow shoes for my predator hunting needs.

In 2007 our snow out on the prairie you could walk the drifts right up over the railcars. Snowshoes were not optional apparel unless you like fenceposting your way around.

Yep, I have seen it that bad before and unless you got proper snowshoes.... just don't go out in it.

Heck up here during and after the Blizzard of 1997 (for a couple days) I had to strap on snow shoes to get to the Convience Store a block away in town to buy a loaf of bread. Also had to strap on the snow shoes more than once to go do a welfare check on some elderly people in town a time or two since.

Our homes are constructed to take a snow load, but we have snow rakes to help get the crap off of our roofs too.

Yep you haven't had fun until you been on a pitched roof with 2 feet of snow trying  to get the snow off and keep yourself on.
On days like that you spend considerable amounts of time digging vehicles out and helping your neighbors (who you now will know better than ever) get their stuff out. I have to come here to work no matter what, so thats first. Once thats done its an excellent time to build a fire in the fireplace and load ammo for the prairie dog shooting you get to do once that stuff finally melts away.
