Just learned that the parade will be based on the 200th anniversery of MEXICO!...lets see we honored CHINA in NEW YORK...how about someone paying tribute to this Country.

I usually watch the rose bowl parade every year if possible or at least parts of it. I will not even turn it on this time.

Won't be a problem finding plenty of mexicans to march in it. I can see it now, a burrito float with a taco balloon. I won't watch it either. POWDERMAN.

I can see it now, 14 year old Juanita will be standing on the corner selling herself for crack cocaine. I'm sure we've all seen the video of illegals marching in protest parades flying the mexican flag in this country. Also they are burning our flag and desicrating it at the same time. We just recently had a situation here you may have seen on e-mail that a mexican restaurant flew the flag upside down. There was a furor over it. It made the front page of the local paper. Alot of energy developed on this one. Most people were appauld and some believed their explanation that it was an honest mistake by an employee. The owner said she is an american citizen and loves this country etc. etc. I will from now on not do any business with any mexican owned business here or anywhere. I am sick of that crap going on in my country. If they don't like this country and it is so unfair and they don't get any justice then they can go back to where they came from and deal with the drug war down there and see just how great this country is and how peaceful it his here compared to what it is down there.

California is being colonized by mexicans. You can not fault anybody for wanting to be here. You leave your political identity in the old country. Next year they are going to honor Afganistan. That float will be covered with opium poppies and rocks.

Either way you slice it the honest law abiding citizen takes it in the kazoo. I don't know what its going to take to change things. I know what I would do if I were the benevolent dictator of the USA. They want all this chaos so it will be easier for them to pass their agenda. I can forsee in the near future on the border states marshall law of some sort to quell the violence. Not gonna be good for anyone living there. We have alot of those kind of people up this way that have a pipeline from there to up here in the northwest. Lot of gangs and drugs. We have alot of gang executions and drive by shootings happening every day. I expect the same thing that is going on down there to be exported up here soon too. Hellbound, I don't blame anyone who wants to leave that gawdawful place to build a peaceful life here for their families. But as you said leave your crap at home and assimilate into our culture.

I think that California WAS ALREADY COLONIZED by Mexicans long before the white boys showed up there. The Apache and the Comanche here in Texas kept them in check, but in California they owned much.

Well when I moved to the Panhandle of Texas back in 1983 I had to get use to the parade celebrating Cinco De Mayo, and I thought that sucked. After a while I decided I liked Mexican food cooked by real Mexicans, better than I did fake Mexican food by fake Mexicans.
I got used to it.
This Rose Bowl parade with a Mexican theme to me isn't too bad a deal. A lot of AMERICANS of Mexican desent have died for this country, and it isn't a parade honoring a religion so I'm ok with it. When the Rose Bowl starts the Islam crap I ain't getting down on that.

The part of California I call home was colonized by Russia, Spain claimed everything up to the North Pole, couldn't defend it. The Russians left when the fur trade declined. A very interesting story is Fremont and Kit Carson taking California away from the mexicans. Adventure, mystery even romance, it would make an epic movie. Hollywood would rather make the 43rd version of the O.K. Corral.

all of those parades are terrible and always have been. I remember grimacing as I was a kid wondering what I was supposed to get out of those shows while I waited for the food to be ready.

4 In Mexico, here after refered to as the corrupt sewer, will not allow another countries flag to be flown there. So why should we allow that rag to be flown here? On occasion I lower the Mex flag that flys over the City hall in South San Fran.

With Obama, Pelosi, and moron Reid in charge I want to fly my flag upside down for distress. With these idiots steering the boat we are surly going to wreck. As they purposly are steering to the rocks.

But here is a nice way of putting it.
I am tired of being a second or third class citizen in the US.
The only thing I want is:
If the Citizens of another country can break US law, at will, why can I not register to break one State and one Federal Law and be allowed to get away with it? Easy for me it is the same law. I choose to Ignore- The State and Federal Tax Codes.
According to the 14th ammedment all Laws have to be equally applied. If Illegals are ALLOWED to ignore multiple laws then I am too. This would be a good case to take to the supreme court. And with out cash flow states and the federal goverment would quickly crack down on Illegals and apply the laws that were written and passed.

I wish they would crack down but they won't. I used to ask a Border Patrol Agent why he didn't go back to his office and get a bus, and I would fill it up for him in 30 minutes. He said his orders were if they hadn't committed a crime, he couldn't pick them up. I ALWAYS SAID, how about "invasion of Texas", and he would say: That doesn't count.
I would laugh and say: Well they sure as hell got upset when Tom Horn invaded Mexico.
I struggled with that for almost 20 years. Lots of illegals, and no one would take them. I was fruitless to arrest them. They would make bond, and disappear.

I would have arrested the Border agent for failing to uphold the Laws and Constitution of the US.
In Santa Anna CA. The city has an amnisty program. They had to take down all of the DUI check points as all they were catching was Illegals way over the limit, no drivers license, no Insurance and unregistered or stolen cars. This puts me in danger as it was a drunk driving zone that I had to go to for work. Again we are second class citizens here. i have to be sober, pay the property tax on the car, register and insure it. They do not.
I think I could solve the whole Illegal problem in one easy step.
As of today all Illegals will be deported to Afganistan, Iraq, Cuba, China, or France. Where ever the next freight flight is headed. If an Illegal gives birth here the birth certificate will be filed after the hospital bill is paid and on the kids 18th birthday they are allowed to enter, If they go back. If not they will be shipped off to one of the above countries. I was tired of seeing my landlords worker disapear for three days at a time cause he got picked up on Friday, get a trip to Mexico on my tax dime to see Mom and Dad or party with his friends still in the Sewer, and be back to work on Tuesday and have smuggled over drugs to pay the Coyote. And he was one of the few that I met that wanted to be a US citizen. The rest just want to take as much from us as posible and leave.

We have spent trillions supposedly protecting other countries, such as poor ole Iraq, from the evil man Hussein. Hussein knew exactly what it took to keep those clowns in line.
We need to stop protecting other countries, and station a bunch like my son's from the 82nd Airborne on the Mexican border. Give them a full magazine. They'll know what to do.
But, again. It ain't gonna happen. Our government is corrupt, and too PC at the same time.

off topic slightly, but I read something about bin laden showing up in a us hospital in saudi arabia a few weeks ago (maybe the us had no jurisdiction- I don't know what the deal was exactly)
