Don't like Propriatory cartridges, too hard to get hold of when you lose your ammo and need replacement.

that  is  why  it  needs  to be like the 357 max 445    460snw

HANDI name on  barrel.......standard/common  understudy

now  get back  to your fantasy  design  assignment!!
when drugs are outlawed only out laws will have drugs
DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO STOP A DEMOCRAT
OBAMACARE....the biggest tax hike in the  history of mankind
free choice and equality  can't co-exist
AFTER THE LIBYAN COVER-UP... remind any  democrat voters ''they sat and  watched them die''...they  told help to ''stand down''

many statements made here are fiction and are for entertainment purposes only and are in no way to be construed as a description of actual events.
no one is encouraged to do anything dangerous or break any laws.

I'd like to see a cartridge that is essentially a .303 British case, necked down to 6.5mm, chambered in the Handi Rifle.

It'll never happen, of course, and I'd probably be the only one who would buy one.

My Handi works well with rimless cartridges, but there is something about "flanged" rounds and hinge guns that seems to go together.

I will join you - I would buy either one - 303 or 6.5/303 for a Handi in a heartbeat.

400 whelen would be risky due to headspace problems is my understading, but how about a 400 8x57 rimmed? what i would like to see is a .323 bore and a .338 bore offered based on one of the short action case so it gives us room to play still without the rebore. A .323, .410 or .338 would be my top top three in that order.
What did you do today...for Freedom?
Today, at the front, he died...Today, what did you do? Next time you see a list of dead and wounded, ask yourself: "What have I done for freedom? What can I do tomorrow that will save the lives of men like this and help them win the war?"

Very similar to the European 6.5x57R.

I had a 303/270 ,years ago. That would be a nice round for a single shot .
