Hogs in New Mexico or Western Texas?

I've been dying to go hog hunting but don't really want to travel too far. Anyone know of a place to hunt in those areas that would be reasonable? Have a 44 mag revolver and just got a Marlin 1894 44 mag that I want to use on a big pig.

I've shot javelina and it's lot of fun. They weigh all of 30-35 pounds. Very hard to get drawn these days. I really would like to get into a big hog just for something different.

Check the area around Paducah Texas, and Matador Texas. I have seen some BIG HOGS on the side of US70 highway thru there MANY TIMES. That's about as West Texas as you can get, and they have hogs.
