I have had a Beta chrony for a year now and it never has worked very well.I had a Pro Chrony before this one and never had any problems (until I shot it ).This beta shows same error all the time no matter what light conditions are, front sensor did not read.I have looked at Chrony web site but no way to email for help.Anyone have a site that may be of some help.I have had enough and want to return and have it checked out.
I will never buy another one of these if i can't get it fixed I will buy another Pro chrony.

Wheelgun. Sorry I can't help with your problem but I just wanted to say that I'm glad to see someone else willing to admit to shooting their crono. As I stated in another post somewhere I shot the front skyscreen on my Oehler 33 a few weeks ago. I could have bought one skyscreen II to replace the one I shot but elected to upgrade to the skyscreen III's instead. I am glad that I did. They work great and they give me a larger shooting area. Now I will have to work harder at making an even worse shot to hit them. :lol:

I can certify that a .358 JDJ has plenty of penetration and plenty of knockdown to take out a Chrony.

Never even found what was left of the battery!

Can't help with any contact information, but my Beta has been chugging long for years now, even after some repeated hits by shotgun pellets and arrows to the sunshades.

However when I finally kill it with a hit, I think I will mount it similar to a deer or elk rack rather than send it in for replacement. Make a great conversation piece.

I shot mine twice. The first time it took a 30-30 to kill it. I went to the web sight and called them and got an upgrade to a master modle and killed it a few years later with my 22 hornet.

The Chrony company has never been hard to get info from. I go to their web sight at http://chrony.ca/

From that page go to "ORDERS" and at the top of the order form there is 2 phone numbers, an e-mail address and addresses. I always call the 800 number and try to get the info I need. They have always been great to talk too and are sympathetic to people who have a habit of shooting their Shooting Chrony.
