Deputy, what did the Conquest come apart from?  Heavy recoil or.....?  I was thinking about getting one of these and would appreciate your input before I fork out major $$ and end up disappointed.  akpls

Deputy, did you send the Conquest back for repair? I'm no expert but I've heard most scope's internals (cheap or high dollar) give up the ghost in the first 100 rounds or so or live a long life. BTW, love the picture of Igore.  :-D

I have a Conquest on my 7mm Rem.  It has held up perfectly for over 200 rounds.  But I too would be interested in how their customer service was.

I have an ELite 3200 1.4x-4.5x-32mm that I have mounted on my .375H&H.  Let me tell you, I had some doubts about this $199 scope, but guess what?  It has held up perfectly after about 50 rounds!  In fact, I consistently get groups WELL UNDER 1" and some as small as 1/4"!!!  I say this because the cross hairs have obviously held up very well, and I think that a 12 gauge slug gun kicks about the same as a .375H&H.

Go with the Elites!

No, Scope went back to store  no time for repair  or to be waiting around and to tell you the truth it is brighter than the zeiss
