sig jams-bought an xd-40.

Strange to say this but I'm selling my Sig.  I have a 229,1st generation, that I bought with sigsites for $615.00 several years ago and it had jamming problems then.  Three years after military service overseas,(couldn't bring it to Europe) I had it shipped to my new home state and had similar problems.  So now I am happy with my XD-40.  Any other people with similar problems?

Wow.  I've owned 3 SIGS and have never experienced a single malfunction.

I have carried two different Sig's on duty and never had a clean-one fail.  I did force a failure by one of them by intentionally not cleaning it during a two day range session.  After around 600 rounds I got a stovepipe.  A drop of Breakfree and working the slide to spread the lube a couple of times kept it working for a few hundred more rounds in the afternoon.
