Hope someone here could give me a little info on which bullet to use for deer out of my 375 12" hunter barrel.I picked up this barrel yesterday for a song and a dance and now I need to know which bullet expands well and flys flat enough for 200 yard deer.I can not remember which bullet Doc Rogers from sixgunner recomended for deer I hope you can help.Thank's for your info.

I have shot alot of the 200 gr sierras but l have been using the 220 hornady lately. They are very accurate over R#7 at 50 yds they will make one ragged hole. The 220 should put a deer down with no problem hope to find out next weekend.

I really like the Hornady 220gr. flat-points (actually look more like a round nose) powered with IMR 4198.  They have proven very accurate for me, and provide more than enough energy to knock the snot out of whitetails (and other large beasts).
How'd you like a peek at my 14-incher? (Contender, that is)

I have a 12" Hunter in 375W and its a dandy barrel. Much more pleasant to shoot than my 375x444. My barrel seems to shoot the 220gr. Hornady bullets better than the 200 gr. Sierra when powered by RL-7. You have a fine combination, enjoy hunting and shooting it.

:)  I have a 14" 375 I've been shooting for yrs. my best load is the Hornady 220gr. with IMR4198 powder.Mine will hold 1 1/4" group at 150yds all day long.I tried 200yds after 6 shots my the bottom of a soda can would cover the group. The longest shot I've made with mine is 129yds. The deer took one step & dropped . In mine its a great load might want ot try it in yours.

My 14" likes the Hornady 220 gr bullet and IMR4198.  Did not get to find out last year what it would do to a deer, maybe this year.  I do know it will leave a big mushroomed spot in a steel plate.
