Problem with 1897 Winchester 12 ga.

I was given an 1897 Winchester solid frame pump gun in 12 gs.  The barrel is 26" long and it appears to be Improved Cylinder.  The bore is good+ and the wood is VG.  The blue has turned to light brown.  The problem is,  when the action is pumped forward,  the action bar disconnects from the bolt.  What is the fix for this problem?  The gun is quite slick and i would like to use it in CAS.

hey thats a great link Cheyenne ........I was wondering how to take mine apart without a hammer !!!!!!!!!  From the pics, Yankee, sounds like you need an action slide stop screw or an action slide.....
