In addition to hunting I also like woodcarving and decided to try my hand at making a roughout knife. I made the blade from an industrial hacksaw blade and the handle from a piece of Zebrawood. The blade is 2 1/2" and the overall knife is just over 6 1/2". I tried carving with it today and it works well.
