Topper sighting question
« on: December 22, 2009, 02:55:59 PM »
I have an older 30 30 topper 158. I put a williams wrgs peep sight on it and have a small bead on the front. In order to sight the gun in I had to push the peep sight almost all the way to the left [as I am holding it] to hit the target. Can I fix this so the peep is better centered over the barrell by moving the front sight in its dovetail and if so, ho much?

I cannot remember what the front site looks like.. I have two 158's but cannot remember....

If the front site is also in a dovetail. its as simple as moving it over. but the amount of movement doesn't sound like too much for just the rear site adjustment.  Try it and see what you get!!
