Merry Christmas to you!  Let us see some pictures when you get it. What kind of carriage are you going to mount it in?

I'm planning on building a field carriage for it, I have a sea service barrel mounted on a naval carriage and had considered building a field carriage for that barrel but decided to buy a new tube instead.

One cannon and two carriages, not quite right, two carriages, two barrels!  Perfect!!!! Leave it Santa to make things right!   Be sure and do the mistletoe thing with her!

I remember when I got a call from the trucking company that my Hern Carronade barrel arrived. I showed up with a shipping BOL number. They spent 20 minutes looking in the warehouse... couldn't find it. Then the guy in the office asked me what it was. I told him it was a cannon barrel. He got out of his little office booth and pointed behind it. There it was, strapped to a pallet. It is amazing how even a big trucking company notices when you ship a cannon barrel ;-)
