I to scored a 12 gauge to add to the collection for Christmas to. I had hoped for a 20 gauge but the chimp working the counter convinced my wife I needed a 12 for getting grouse. :o Either way I am happy and still have a 410 that alters a grouses flight plan!

Congrats on the New Christmas guns! Ther is a lot of talk about how great the 20ga is and it's all true but the 12 loaded with the 00 bucks is still right my back up HD gun and would be my choice as a survival gun.
PROUD REDNECK CONSERVATIVE

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

Guess you'll just have to wait till your birthday for the 20ga.  ;)

Enjoy that new 12ga in the meantime.  ;D

My wife told me to just find bigger grouse. I should have thought on that.  But I was busy reading the warning of misuse can cause injury/death/blindness on the barrel. ;D

Yes I do! ;D

I went to my cousins sunday afternoon and gave it a proper break in.
He has a 12v clay thrower so I put 150+ shells threw it already.

So light and quick you can almost shoot the clay off of the thrower
yet the modified choke let me reach to "knock out" my cousin and brother many times.

My 28" mossberg pump felt like a 10 foot 2x4 after shooting this little pardner.

Less than a week old and already a gun I would hate to go without.
I must own the other guages some day.
