need~ 2-1/4" i.d. pipe

i have looked at the local weld shops.....i cannot find a 6" section of 2-1/4" i.d. pipe to use as a 'sizer' to make sure of my shot. where do you fellows find these at?

take a solid bar and turn it
thats probably the only way to get the absolute correct size
if you got a 2,25" bore your gauge should be 1/40th smaller

You want to measure your bore and have 3 inch section turned to the same I.D as the bore.  Make sure the bore is measure in several different point down the bore to see if it is uniform. That applies to pipe also it probably isn't round either.  A shop that does engine rebuilds should have a device used to measure cylinders to do the measurements.

I'll look in my shop later today.  Make sure of your measurement.  I have a number of odd diameter pieces one of which MAY be close.

I had mine made at the same time I had my mold made. It was part of the package. A tad bigger than the mold diameter, and a tad smaller than the bore diameter.
