Castor/saq oil?

Will it hurt my beaver castor to add a little saq oil to it or should I use each one by its self?

 Worm, it can be done either way--niether will hurt any thing.
 It's all personal preference.

Thanks Tom. We're going to try to hit them hard before this next big storm gets here, but we may not make it. At least we saw enough fox and mink sign so we can make different sets on land if everything gets flooded. Plenty of high ground around here to make sets on as long as everything doesn't freeze solid.

I bought an old trapper out and he put in a big peanut butter jar of his "special sauce".  He wouldn't tell me what it was for but it has seperated and has the sac oil on top of a dark brown paste.  I am going to set some cat sets out tomorrow so maybe I'll take a stick and stir it up and use it for a couple sets...

I'v been told that K-9's really go for saq oil as a change up lure, not sure about it on cats, but I'll bet it will pique their curiosity.
