Go to your photo bucket album, left click on the pic you want to post. Then right click on the pic and left click on "copy image location". then in the reply left click on "insert image" and left click to insert needed data. Make sure there are some words somewhere so it will work. then click post.

Jim,

You are posting a thumb nail.

When you log in to Photo bucket click on the album you uploaded the picture to.

When the album opens, move you cursor over the picture you want to post and a menu will pop down.

Move you cursor down to the box next IMG Code and click on it. The box will turn blue.  With your cursor arrow still on the blue highlighted text, right click you mouse and select copy.

Nove to the reply window, left click you mouse to put the curor in the reply window.  Right click and paste.  The coded text wil appear.

If you still get a thumbnail it may be because you are uploadiong a thumbnail.  You wil have figure out that part on you computer.

Try that and I will tell you have to resize pictures in photo time in another posts.

Jeeper, I tried what you said and didn't find the options you referred to .  Are you using IE or some other browser?

Firefox.
But the easiest way to post a pic is to use "My Hosted Pics".

So, should I post my photos into "My hosted Pics", and then work from there? Might be easier than what I'm trying to do...?

It would be a lot easier in my opinion. That is what I use.

Actually My hosted pictures is the Free site put up by GBO.  It is much less cluttered that Photobucket, but they both work the same way.

My Hosted Pictures lite is pretty basic and is a good way to start.  I don't know how their premium service works.  It might have some advanced features.

I have a premium  service that I have had since 2001 with over 4000 pictures in it. It is way to late for me to change.

I keep several of the free accounts so I can know how they work to help you quys.

Boomlover,
If your pics are over 500K in size, they won't load on the free site.  You either have to go to the premium service or go to photobucket.  I have a Nikon camera and all the pictures it takes are over 500K in size.  When I got this camera I had to switch to Photobucket.

Thanks, Zulu........I suspect that is what is going on, so, I already have a PhotoBucket account, just got to figure how to get the pics up to size so they will load properly. Right now they post real small, like a thumb, almost. I'll get it, it will just take some more experimenting on my part!

Zulu, you should be able to adjust the picture size in your camera. I can set my camera to go from 123KB to 745KB in 6 different sizes.

Jeeper1,
I'll check in to it.  Thanks.  However, I am having no problems with Photobucket other than too many pop-ups.

Zulu, you should be able to adjust the picture size in your camera. I can set my camera to go from 123KB to 745KB in 6 different sizes.

I re-size them with my photo editing software. I think even the simplest of programs have this function (?)
