We Need Real Airport Security

The current security screening done by TSA is very inadequate.  There is a good system out there and we need to start using it.  I can think of several ways to circumvent the current system, and get enough explosives aboard any air craft to blow it out of the sky, yet we are not using the systems that would stop it.  Why? 

This latest attack proves that our systems don't work, and we have systems that would work, but people are too modest to let that system be used.  The X-Ray system would have prevented this last incident.  We need to start using that system or there will be more planes going down.  And if someone does not want someone looking under their clothes, then they don't need to fly.

Some people are going to get hot about this point I have made, I don't care.  My life, the lives of my Kids, and Grandkids, may depend on it.  This latest incident proves enough stuff can be slipped aboard in sufficient quantities to make a good bomb.

Why not just have them board the plane naked? It would be alot cheaper. ;D ;D ;D

Yep, the x-rays would be a very good way to go. ALSO, it is simply time to stop the Political Correct idea, and begin to aggressively profile potential threats. IF folks who fit the profile of terrorists don't like it, simply don't fly. For the very life of me, I simply cannot understand what is evil about profiling..Isrealis use it ( along with other methods ) very sucessfully.
As far as profiling goes, ok, I"m a 60 year old white male. Lets say, for instance, a young child was last seen being lured into a vehicle driven by a 55-65 year old white male, and that vehicle was somewhat similar to what I drive. I would have simply NO PROBLEM being stopped, I.D.'d, and briefly questioned about my activity. If the child came up missing a reasonably short time prior to my being stopped, again, I would have NO PROBLEM with my vehicle being searched. It is exigent circumstance..no warrant is needed.
It is simply way past time to get serious, and treat the threat accordingly.
