not very exciting but odd

I was hunting around Square mountain in the Adirondacks.  Got to the top and needed a little breath break, so I sat on a convenient log.  I looked and saw an old woolrich shirt/jacket (you remember them?) folded up on the log.  I picked it up and it fell apart and an old baggie sandwich bag fell out of it with some unidentifiable substance still in it.
About six months later I was talking to my brother and mentioned finding it.  Turns out he took that jacket off about 15 years ago and set it on a log, with his lunch still in the pocket walked off and could never find it again.
somewhere betwixt a baulk and a breakdown

That reminds me of the local fellow that worked down at the brick company.  One day he wrote his name and the date on a wet brick before it went into the kiln.  Ten years later he bought a house in the next county.  The house developed a leak in the roof near the chimney.  He went up in the attic to find the leak, stepped off a rafter, fell through the ceiling and broke a leg. :-D
Don't believe everything you think.
