I found this on AR15.com... This is what that Muslim terrorist tried to set off in that plane to Detroit the other day.  One member of AR15.com is an explosives investigator for the ATF, and he affirmed that everything in this film is 100% correct.  Imagine if you could get a clear baggie full of 3oz bottles of this stuff past the TSA screeners... forget bringing down an airliner, you could sink a cruise ship!

We are all screwed until we realize that there is a war going on between the religion of Islam, and EVERYONE ELSE!  It is not just Americans, or "western civilization"... the koran teaches them to kill anyone who is not muslim.

If you see someone lighting a ball-point pen with a lighter... use deadly force or run like hell.

Your local cops do not know about this, DHS is just now realizing the extent of the danger, and the TSA is OBVIOUSLY not on the ball (imagine that).  The government CANNOT keep you safe.

The video is BS. The melon looks like it was shot with a rifle while the fuse was still burning. You can see the sparks from the still burning fuse, as the melon disappears. If an explosive went off next to a fuse, there wouldn't be any fuse parts left.  If the material on the fuse was so dangerous ( a primary explosive) would you use your fingers to press rubber tape on it?  I wouldn't, unless I wanted a new name, like "Lefty"

As to airport security, the guy was on a terrorist watch list; his father had notified authorities he was a muslim whack job, and he was assisted onto the plane without a passport by some other guy. The system for protecting air travelers isn't working. The only thing that saved us is the stupidity of the Nigerian Demolition expert.

Federal agencies talk about binary explosives.  Commercial binary explosives have been around for 50 years or more.  They are very safe to transport, store and use.  What the FBI and the rest of the federal "experts" do not tell you about it TATP-Triacetone-Triperoxide.  TATP has been used by middle east terrorists for many years:  They call it Umm Shatan-Mother of The Devil, because it is so dangerous to make and use.  At normal temperatures the stuff detonates as soon as it is mixed:  It crystallizes into a powder that immediately detonates. 

The FBI claims that the perp had a packet of PETN:  Pentaerythritol tetranitrate is a secondary high explosive that requires the use of a detonator or blasting cap to make it function.  The Islamic crazies are using a small quantity of TATP to detonate the PETN.  Two of the ingredients of the TATP binary mixture can be safely carried mixed on ones person.  The sulfuric acid is carried in another container or a syringe.  As soon as the sulfuric acid is injected into or poured into the other ingredients the stuff detonates setting off the PETN.

Ha, there's a learning curve.  When the reports get back to the guy that made the bomb, he will figure out what he did wrong and get it right next time, maybe.  There will be a next time.

I've been wondering when they were going to try using this stuff, and knew someday they would.  Give them time they will take over the world.  They have already started, look at Europe.  Violence was what ran them out last time, now people are not prone to violent actions and it won't happen again.

ShadowMover.  Having worked with explosives both in the military and as a civilian construction worker I speak from experience when I say you can see a fuse burn (smoke) right up to the point of the explosion.  As far as being dangerous and not being able to handle the product, most highly effective explosives are VERY stable and allow one to handle them.  Those that are not stable and do not allow handling is the ones that will get you the name “Lefty!”  Have you ever used a high concentrated Nitrogenous fertilizer?  Very stable, but highly explosive when mixed with diesel fuel and a prime inserted.

Although I did work with some fuses that required a light to set them off the majority of my experience was with electronic caps………..I do know a lefty who made the mistake of playing with of those.

Binary explosives can be made from several simple ingredients.  How effective it is depends on how it is mixed, if not exact it will burn rather than explode as it did in this case. Maybe this will provide a better explanation.

As they have probably figured out by now most modern explosives will not detonate by lighting them they just melt or burn they will not detonate if hammered on or thrown they require a shochwave to set them off and it has to be a strong one and at the proper frequency. At the meeting to sell the navy hbx3 as a torpedo warhead explosive the ashtrays on the meeting tables were cast out of hbx3 and nobody was told of their make up until at the end of the meeting. The navy bought it.

I was watching a video on these explosives.  So I called a friend (In the Military) that works with this stuff.  We discussed what the news reported and what has been released.  My friend said that if the Dutchman had not gotten up and beat out the flames so quick, if it had continued to burn, the flames could have gotten the PETN packet sewn into his underwear, hot enough to go off.

If the PETN had gone off, sufficient damage could have been done to cause the airliner to crash.



OK, thats it, everybody now has to fly naked.  No pens, no water bottles, no phones, no ipods, no disk players.  Nothing can be carried aboard, just your body, and that X-rayed good. 

Well maybe everyone could be given a paper gown to wear after they are X-rayed.  No one wants to look at a bunch of naked old fat men.

Some might say that; I wouldn't. But I'm wondering - where'd you get all the quotes? Read the Koran? Studied Islam? Or cherry-picked from a website who cherry-picked them to make a political point?

Two years after I retired I was recalled during Desert Storm because I spoke the language.
