a point was made to day about who is he kidding...Everyone knows who did it and where it was planned heck the even have claimed responsibility for it. What is he going to do issue an arrest warrent? Demand extradition? Go to the Haige and demand action maybe the U.N.?

We all know he will do nothing he does not have the courage nor the will.

You can say what you want about George Bush but by God thats the type of man I want in the White House. one that will take all the political heat in hell to kill those that want to kill us.

I predict that this latest incident will bring the wrath of the people down on the WEAK YELLOW PRESIDENT we unfortunately have.

On hypocrisy... how does the statement you quoted constitute hypocrisy? Perhaps you'd like the President - yes, the President - to give some "Pard, we gon' git 'em, dead or alive!" kind statement while he straps on his Peacemaker and saddles his horse? What would satisfy you, and remove the charge of hypocrite?

With what the president gets paid, he DOESN'T deserve a vacation in Hawaii. As a matter of fact, I'ld love to tally up the time this man has actually spent working. He's either in a plane flying to Europe,back to Chicago,(probably getting his marching orders),M.E. kissing butt.
This guy has been in office almost a full year, and hasn't spent a month in the White House or Congress, other than to wreck the economy.
As far as having a drink and a smoke, why doesn't he do it in Detroit with the rest of his bro's, and find out first hand what is going on. He can hand out some of his ''stash money'' while he's there, as the locals called it when they did a $3,000 kickback to the welfare folks. gypsyman

He did not do anything as Senator, and got away with it.  Don't know why he should do any thing as President.  If he lets other people handle it and screw up they take the blame.  Keeps his hands clean.

yellowtail3, as I sit here and type this, I have a gin/lemon/seven in front of me. Last thing I would want to do is deny anybody of a drink. And the first thing I'ld like to do down the road someday, is light up the biggest, stinkiest cigar. I gave that up about 12 years ago, and really miss it.
Point with Obama, can't remember exact details, but he wasn't in office 2 weeks, and he takes off on a plane ride somewhere. And it was a pleasure trip. This guy has logged more flight time in those 747's in one year than any other president to date. Maybe you don't mind paying for those baby's to be in the air, but isn't that what telephone's and 'puters are for? He wants to be green, how much carbon emissions has he put in the air, flying over to the ''earth climate'' meeting, and then to pick his Nobel peace prize. I guess I should be thankful he didn't make a seperate trip for that!He did fly to the Olympics meeting, and didn't pull that one off. Oh well, just about $64,000 an hour for that trip to South America. And the time he flew into Columbus to congratulate the police dept for keeping their present numbers of officers, and hiring 20+ from the new police class. Except it was a local radio dj figured out he spent more in expenses than what the dept got,from the Fed's in grant money, to hire new officers and keep a few of the old. Ya, that's real good economics. Bush started this bailout crap, and he was wrong. It was in Clintons term that they pushed for ARM loans for the low income. Yep, that worked real well didn't it. If Bush1 would have taken Saddam out in the first Gulf war, instead of listening to the UN, a whole lot of our ME problems would have been solved. I don't mind anybody taking a vacation, if they earned it. He hasn't. gypsyman

Fine & fair enough. 'Obongo', though, sounds about likr left-wingers calling President Bush 'chimp in chief' - expressions of contempt to no good end do no good.

The reason I'm so hard on Obama, in my lifetime, he can see what works, and doesn't do it. When Reagan took office, he inherited double digit inflation and interest rates. He cut tax's,government,spending, and got things back to a more even keel. What has Obama done, exactly the opposite,(just like Bush was doing in the end) and he's going to make it worse. He's not a dumb man, I feel he's doing it by design,as a few others here believe. He wants to bring this country down to a third world country level. IMHO gypsyman

I think that's silly. He's a liberal - he believes in a big role for gov't - and he's acting on it. No surprise there.

I didn't vote for him. I'm not a fan. But I hope he does well, and his administration is successful, the measure being... how well the country does. I hope he doesn't get sidetracked by the underwear bomber and demands that he 'do somthing' there.

I think the idea shopped around - that he's a Manchurian candidate, implanted by Islamic conspiracy - is loony. Of course... that his Mom was wacked out leftist, doesn't help. Heck, I don't think Obama could have gotten a TS clearance if he'd joined the Navy.
