Are you insinuating that because she is incompetent and  says crap like "the system worked" and does not have clue as to what she should be doing as head of "homeland insecurity" that she should resign?

On the contrary she will get a great  eval and probably get a raise and maybe additional  duties and responsibilities to further take apart any semblance of respectability that this country had! Not to mention reduce our ability to do anything about defending this country and its people!

The TSA is a rice-bowl kind of organization, where you get in by whom you know, and then preserve your little kingdom. She seems about right for leadership there.

That said, I have no first-hand experience with her; that she's been appointed by Obama is no reason for her to resign (plenty for some, I realize). And that somebody got on a plane and tried to blow it up, is no reason for her to resign, considering the standards of her employer. Did she implement whatever steps failed to catch the guy? Did she?

Actually TSA stands for transportation security administration. Napolitano is the secretary of THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY- big, big difference.
 Can you just see the ragheads sitting in front of their computers watching that dingbat saying -"the system worked as planned"

From what I'm hearting/reading, the guy got on the plane without a passport and he paid for his ticket with cash. He also had no luggage check in.

This guy getting on the plane is a failure of the the Dutch boarding process and a lack of coordination with American authorities. The Dutch shoudl have contacted the US authorities and asked for permission to let the guy board a USA bound aircraft. How in the hell could they expect a guy without a passport would get through our Customs process?? Nepalitano should be fired not because this guy got on the plane, but because she said the system worked! If this is her description of the systme working, she should be fired. Obviously, Napalitano has not worked out a well coordinated process with all the origin points for inbound air traffic.

Napolitano under the Obama administration has been unknowingly dismantling the security coordination process with these foreign origin points. As the head of the agency, she should have all along demanding quality audits of these origin points. She obviously is not doing this. If she was, she would have cited these audits during the interviews. Instead, she said the system worked just fine. She is now backing tracking because she has discovered that the job she has is a technical job. She is just a political hack running a technical operation she knows nothing about. She is incompetent.

Yea, the Israelis, Who in the world would be more likely to be blown up. Elal has a perfect record, they watch who is getting on a plane and if they think someone is suspect he dont go! If the type of security regulations were enforced that might of stopped this incident, there would be very few people using the airlines.If a person is determined enough and has no fear of his own saftey, they can circumvent alot of security conditions.Until the security personnel are allowed to treat all passengers the same without fear of reprisals our County will continue to see these incidents.
