Have question on 336 models
« on: December 29, 2009, 04:24:39 AM »
I am sure that I'm not the first to ask this on this site but search did not show me.
What are all the different letters at the end of the 336 model and what do they stand for?
I have searched all over net with a old computer and dail-up. About 3 hr of my life that I will
not get back. Thank You for the help. Yellowriver

I know that dileup is slow but go over to marlin arms and you may get some info there
What letters are you interested in finding out?
Some indicate cal. some type or rifling and some type of stock and and some type of saftey and some barrel length.

The answer to your question is right here on GBO,  in the Marlin "sticky's", at the beginning of this section, in the sticky labeled: "model number suffexes".
