need some help with my t/c

i recieved the 06 barrel today i bought to replace the endeavor muzzleloader barrel and i have run into a problem that i know nothing of. maybe y'all can help or give some advice . i took the two screws out of the forearm of the muzzleloader and took out the hinge pin ,removed the barrel,then i set the 06 barrel into the frame and put the hinge pin back in,followed up by trying to get the screws back into the new barrel and the holes in the barrel are to small(thread 8/32) and the ones that came out of the muzzleloader barrel look like 1/4 " or close anyway..what am i missing?? do i need diffrent forearms for the rifle barrels and new sized bolts for each barrel too!  bought a 30-06 and 22-250 so i can varmit hunt and punch paper and the 06 to deer hunt with..any suggestions ... ???

Yes, your going to need a new forearm for the rifle barrels. It will come with the screws, The ML forearm fits only ML's.

Make sure to get the forearm that fits your barrel contour.  I think that there are "heavy" and "tapered" barrels for the Encore, so you might need check this.  However, I'm not as familiar with the Encore Rifles, so someone else might chime in here?  Make sure first.

You can fire both of your barrels without the forearm, just make sure not to let the hing pin fall out, and make sure it stays seated correctly in the frame.

If you buy a Pro-Hunter forend it will fit the heavy barrel and tapered barrel with a gap around it.

Typical factory barrel contours are as follows:

24" tapered contour usually has iron sights.
26" heavy contour has no iron sights.
28" Pro-Hunter (heavy contour) has no iron sights and is fluted to lighten up and stiffen the barrel.

Ed's does have good prices ,my future buys will give him the first shout,but since i wanted to start shootin ;D ;D i found one at a archery and gun shop near where my mom lives and while i visited her today i just ran by and picked it up. startin' the new year out on the range ( good LORD  willin') :) thank's for every one help ....HAPPY NEW YEAR  to all
