the second target presented it's self just right at sunset. the sun was sinking behind the mountains and the sky had turned a blood red. i was sitting on the side of a rather large hill overlooking a valley. the valley extended for about 3 miles, it was filled with mesquite and knee high grass. the grass has turned a dark tan but the mesquites are still green. the coyote came in quartering into the wind at a unhurried pace. at about 50 yards he busted me, i had to move inorder to get the shot. he quickly bolted behind a large mesquite out of sight. i pushed the button on the foxpro, i had preset it to a coyote in distress. about 30 seconds later he reappeared at about 125 yds comming back to see what was wrong with the other coyote. now it was time to use the accuracy i had just found 30 minutes earlier at the rifle range (target 1), and thats just what i did. end of story.
