All these recent pics of shorties on here........ I just need to have a shorty carbine too!!!!  ::) ;D

Matt that 500 looks very very nice... I have a M8 fixed 2.5X Leupy scope in the back of the safe, just waiting for just such a project.......
But what caliber would I do....

This is a 45-70 i had cut down on both ends.  Was real loud and hard to shoot with the short stock but it looked cool as cool can get.



But to tell the truth my vote for a shorty would be the 12ga USH gun.  I had this one (top gun in pic) cut down and I just LOVE it, love it, love it.

 I love the USH, especially the barrel fluting. Did it improve the accuracy any? I read where Hastings claimed the guns shot better after the barrel was shortened  ??? Less recoil dwell time, supposedly
