With all these sightings for so many years even in history records show there were sightings something has to be out there.  And in fishing all hours of the night and early mornings I have to say this stuff(nature) comes to life when we are sleeping you just never know whats out there or closeby us.  One morning at 5am here in CT. I watched two fawns get a drink while four otters played with them from the water.  I never knew there were otters in CT?  So why not bigfoot??  We have blackbears, mountainlions, fishers, and bobcats??  I seen mountainlion tracks many years ago when no one would believe me in Vermont? Of course in the higher elevations so they stayed out of sight.  I just hope we don't hurt it (bigfoot) we seem to kill everything else.

I'm one of those fence straddlers too. I don't say I disbelieve they exist I just haven't seen any proof of it I'd take to the bank yet. I am open minded about it and willing to believe it but need something more than photos which may or may not be faked and stories of others who say they've seen them. Guess I really do need to see one myself to move me totally into the believer category.

I read you guys tales of the things you've seen with interest but after a life time spent in the woods since I was a wee lad I've yet to see anything I'd place in the category of unexplained or not known to exist. Now I do keep hearing a sound I just can't identify. Started 10-12 years or so ago. Had never heard it prior to that even tho I've been hunting and fishing out in the woods and on the waters my whole life. Haven't a clue what makes the sound. Nothing I've ever seen and I thought that was everything that lives in my area makes a sound quite like it. Sorta cross between a cat's purr and a bird sound. I've had it as close as 25 yards behind thick cover. Once even well under 50 yards I'm sure when visibility was well over 100 yards and I saw nothing. That particular morning was cold as a well digger's behind and crunchy as corn flakes from the ice on all the leaves from the rain the evening before.

Yet nothing made a sound moving. The sound then moved away from me a good distance before sounding again. That makes me think bird but what kind? Still I should have seen it fly or heard it fly. I didn't. So I know for sure something is out there I don't know what is. Heck maybe it is a big foot. I dunno.

the main reason i would, and did, cast an affirmiative vote was jest my way of thinkin. if i was on a jury and the prosecuter passed all the evidence before me and the defense passed all their evidence before me i'm saying that the evidence-without a corpse-is enough to say beyond a reasonable doubt that -yes bigfoot exsist(sp).....but then i've been wrong before. why i remember in 19and54 i thunk i was wrong-then i found i was right.

 Hi everyone :D
O.K. I got to talk to the brother that heard the new`s report and here`s what he had to say. Jim was staying in Springfield, MO, waiting to be called out for a train to bring back to Tulsa, Ok. As he was leaving, a new`s flash came on the new`s that a new species of large gorilla (Bigfoot) has been found in northern Ark. He (Jim) didn`t get to hear the rest of the report, because the cab driver arrived to pick him up and he had to leave. He said the report said no mention of one being shot, just that there was a new species found. Thats all he got to hear.
So, if there are any of you guy`s from Ark and MO, out there, you probably have seen the report. Please inform us. I don`t know what channel it was on, He said it was on the local t.v staion.

GB, you might be hearing a Loon. They have a lot more calls than just the "Crazy Woman's Laugh" that they are famous for. Your description is sort of how I would describe their in-flight call. Their numbers are going way up, and migration routes might carry some over Alabama.
On the 19th of April, 1775, a tyrannical government sent an army to disarm its citizens. They ran into a touch of trouble.

Maybe but from what little I know of loons if water isn't near they aren't likely to be either, right? I'm hunting woods with no water nearby when I heard them in every case. At most in the areas I hunt there might be a small branch and it doesn't even always have water. Nothing that would attract a water bird. Now if they were perching birds that might be in the woods with no water nearby maybe you could be onto something.

Is big foot real or does our eyes and mind let us think its real ?

Let me remind you fellas that you see and hear with your mind (or brain) not your eyes or ears.  The eyes and ears merely transfer signals to the brain, where they are assimilated.  The results are a picture or sound.  There are several ways that you may "see" or "hear".

The most common is the method we use every day where light waves of varying frequencies enter our eyes and sound waves or vibrations activate our eardrums.

Then there are dreams,  These are "movies" with sound that our brains compose.

The next method is hallucination.  Thats what you get when your body chemistry gets messed up.

The last is a vision.  These are induced through preternatural or Supernatural powers.

Guys, there ain't no such thing as ghosts, space aliens or big feet.

BigBill,  I realize that you saw something; I, too, have seen things.  And, yes, they are real....but they are not necessarily what you think you saw.  I know that sounds funny to you and it's probably not the best way to state it, but it will have to do for now.

Understand this, BigBill and all, ghosts, space aliens and Bigfoot are in the realm of the occult and I would advise all of you to find other things to investigate.  As I have said before, "The mental institutions are full of people who have dabbled in the occult".

As for you catching this thing on film, these entities can manifest themselves in any form they wish....including ghosts, space aliens and Bigfeet.  The Bible gives several examples of this, the first being Satan manifesting himself as a serpent in Eden.

Now, I'm not going to "preach" to y'all, but I am going to give you some good advice....Stay Away From These Things Until You Understand What You Are Dealing With.

I've been in dudleytown a few times and something is very wrong and bad there.  I went in a non believer and in the end I'm a believer. I've seen a two legged creature try to hide its clef hoofed tracks in human tracks there in the snow.  I took another guy with a video camera there and he won't go back because of what we caught on film.  There was also a professional film crew there from california and they got run out of there after having so many problems with the camera equipment and then something appeared out of one of the old cellars(image) and that was it they left for good and when they got home they had nothing on the film they shot?  I also had problems with my camera going off by itself like 4 shots at a clip then it would stop and do it again on the next pitycure I took.  We also had problems with the video camera too turning it on and off it just wouldn't stay off??  And then the dog would turn and look as if something called it on one trip and on another it would run back(25 & 60 yds) and circle a tree and comeback it did it a few times as we got further away.   I know a lot of people who don't want anything to do with the place who been up there and won't go back.   You can draw your own conclusion whats going on up there but it ain't human and of this earth.                                                                     BigBill

As far as bigfoot there is more that the russians know than their telling us about it.  It seems they have more documented cases than we have.

For many years I've seen mountainlion tracks in Vermont in the higher elevations like 25 to 30 years now I've seen proof and the locals would never believe me.   Now these elusive big cats are all thru the northeast???  How did they get by so many for all these years???  Now I never seen signs of bigfoot yet I've been looking thats how i found the mountainlion tracks.   There has to be something there with all these sightings around the world too of it.   While I would never shoot one unless it came to harm me and trust me it ain't going to walk away when I shoot it.  The russians talk about it disappearing and think it uses the earths magnetic grid and its still here but we can't see it?  Think about it?  It may be a lot smarter than we are?   I understand what you are saying but I find it interesting if all these things are related in someway maybe your right?  Somethings are better left alone too.

there are spirits. they can manifest themselves in many ways. god has his angels--they are here to protect his little ones and they manifest themselfs in different forms. satan has his evil spirits- and they can manifest themselves in supernatural ways.
i believe this because i believe the bible and i believe the bible to be creditable.
do i believe in ghost-ie spirits of souls that have passed-no. i believe the dead have passed on to their reward.
