Does anybody make replacement grip caps made of material other than plastic? I have the Competitor grip on my Contender and the plastic grip cap is cracked.

might be able to make one yourself from thin aluminum plate :idea: i seen one somewhere, and i think it's in a article at www.handgun hunt.com

Great question Camel...cracked mine into several small plastic shards, and it has yet to be replaced...I've been thinking of making one out of a piece of thin steel and adding a swivel to the middle of it, but have yet to have the time to put my plan into motion.

hmmm? i seen one made from aluminum plate somewhere also. i can't remember where. :roll:

Some of the earlier caps were aluminum with a cat on them. Check E-bay or Auction Arms. They come up once in a while.
