WC844 Powder
« on: January 03, 2010, 04:59:40 AM »
Has anyone played with this Military powder. It is a pull down ball powder that can be loaded using H335 data.

Thanks,
Buckskin

Yep, my lot number is 726 and it is a bit slower than H-335 in the 223 and the 7-30 Waters...

I wish I had several more 8-pound kegs of it as it seems to shoot better than the H-335...

Good-luck with it...BCB

So if it's a pull down batch, I am guessing that it will be a combination of several lot #'s or do they pull as specific lots. Was considering buying some, but just figured out the cost and it's only $2/lb cheaper than I can get H335 from Natchez.  Although Natchez is out at the moment, but I have plenty for now anyway.

Mine has the lot number right on the container, and so did any other surplus powder I purchased...

Two dollars per pound cheaper than H-335 doesn't should like all that good of a deal, but then surplus powder might be getting less available...

Good-luck...BCB

ive used alot of it and the lots ive had burn closer to 332 but a bit slower then it. Its an excellent powder and unless you can find comercial powder localy your not going pay more the 2 dollars more a lb for it and even if i only do save 2 bucks a lb it still is a savings and it is just as good as 335 or 332.
