Didn't Winchester  sell out and another rifle co. makes their rifles? Maybe thats why they
are going to make the 375 H&H. Don't get me wrong I think its great that they are makeing win. rifles

Just curious - Why do you suppose that the rifle is not available in synthetic with a stainless steel barrel?

The new FN Winchesters are great rifles.

Yes I am so pumped about this!!!! I own several model 70 including 2 safari express and also  a couple feather wt. form the new factory.  I love the new trigger..  And I love how the guys asking high prices for the safari express, this should deflate thier prices a little.. :D

I just returned from my local shop with that bright red Winchester box!
 ;D ;D ;D
The three month wait was definitely worth it. The new Model 70 Safari Express is a piece of art...beautiful matte blue and satin walnut. Can't wait to go play now! I might use it with some reduced loads for deer this autumn but really holding out for East Cape in March.
