I've hunted Big Boar Lodge in Homer and Old Stone Fence in Rennsellear Falls (out of business I think). BBB isn't bad and were very nice folks, about 250 acres large. I've heard good things but not hunted with Cold Brook Preserve, also in Homer and I expect about the same. Battenkill is a rather new place with stiff pricing and I don't know of anyone whose hunted there, I expect it's a nice place. Unfortunately, Lucky Starr in western NY is out of business.....
