.38cal BPCR twist question.

Hi
Just bought a .38cal BPCR with a 1 in 18 twist.
What is the heaviest bullet this will stablise out to 500 yards?

A 1-18" twist should work well with bullets up to 260 gr. I use 245 gr bullets in mine, and get sub .75" groups at 100 yds, from the sandbags.

Hey marlinman, is that the little Lyman 375248 boolit?  I have one of those molds, but haven't shot it much.  My .38-55 has a 1-15" twist Badger barrel on it, and I've been working with a bit longer/heavier slug.

How about the details of your load, that sounds like a tack-driver!
