Finally some good news.

Byron Dorgan and Chris Dodd say they are going to throw in the towel at the end of their terms.  It is reported that two other Dumbycrats will do the same.  Could it be that the Lord has shown the way by taking Ole Teddy out?  Let's hope it turns into an avalanche.

Hate To ruin the good feeling but they are jumping off before they get thrown off so as to get a good civilian arm twisting and bribing job in the LOBBY!

  if you believe for a second they are throwing in the towel, think again.   they are going to be placed in another high position, mark my words.   the word is that dodd is going to replace the treasury secretary. talk about letting the fox watch the henhouse.

Yep! Now it will be the Republicans turn to steal our freedoms. Their much smoother at it, and it's not so publicized. That way I don't have to watch it on Fox. They just quitely dissapear, and everyone shruggs their shoulders, and says it's better than when the Democrats steal them. I feel better already.

I once flew on a small jet , the driver gave the speech on safety as was required . Then he said if an EMG. happens stay out his way and follow him out as he will know when to go .
 When we see the ones at the top jump off it could be they see an EMG. in the making and want out ?

 The dems are a smart bunch they know that anyone in office is going to have a real hard time getting reelected. They figure if they get them to resign, they can put in a new face and get them in with less problems.  Never underestimate your enemy!!!

i have felt for good while that the american people will be awakend by the extreme leftist agenda of obama and crowd. i aslo have felt that when they do there will be one heck of a backlash coming.

well they have and most of the democrats see that they are going to pay big time in the next elections. dodd and the others know it and they want to retire rather than go into oblivion as a defeated one.

this awakening just may scare some to defect on health care and other agendas. if they do and obamas agenda is not fullfilled soon it will be all down hill for his administration. he will and his administration will go down in history as the worst ever and the most complete failure on record.

....one can always hope.

I don't think the American public will EVER wake up. They will just keep on doing what they've been doing the last couple hundred years and it will just keep on getting worse until it's too late to turn it around. Actually I think it already is too late.  ::)

I agree GB, and even though you and I disagree on voting, I think the Republicans will come in and help finish us off.
The lessor of two evils (the Republicans) will triumph, and they can then continue to sell us out at a more comfortable pace that makes the Pseudo Conservative, believe that he voted wisely. By the time the lessor of, voter realizes what he has done, he will have compromise voted, all of our freedoms away, and it will be as you say, too late.

One problem is each year another class of brain washed kids are able to vote . So as one group reaches that age where they realize that they can't make enough to change the world and realize what they do make they will need to survive another bunch of brain washed liberals fall into their slot . The biggest problem is on the other end the baby boomes are starting to die now which means we lose on both ends

I'll second that and I don't deny that the Republicans aren't blameless in all of this, but as has been stated, their's (Republicans) is the slower road to ruin and that beats the heck out of the fast lane.  Actually, no one should be surprised at what is happening to this country; it's just the way democracies go--and it matters not what flavour of democracy obtains.  When the people discover they can vote themselves goodies....

I'd go for Palin-Cheney, but my choice would be for Liz Cheney, not Dick.  I have nothing against Dick, but he deserves retirement.  I mean that in the best way.
