Jan. 4, 2010The Eastern Upper Peninsula Citizen Advisory Council (CAC) for the Department of Natural Resources
will meet Wednesday, Jan. 13 from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m., at the Luce Mackinac Alger Schoolcraft District Health Department building, located at 14150 Hamilton Lake Rd., in Newberry.

The CACs were formed to give U.P. citizens more input into DNR regional programs and activities. The councils, in both the Eastern U.P. and Western U.P., represent a variety of outdoor recreation interests and help the DNR identify ways to be more effective across the region.
