Has anyone tried taking one of the OE "specials" to a gunsmith to see if it can be made to switch barrels like a standard OE? I'm wanting to pick up another Optima Elite in 45-70 for my son to use in Louisiana's primitive weapon season but I want him to be able to use my other OE barrels too.
It seems the only OE's that I can find are either "specials" or only offered in a caliber I don't need/want...
